Mosaic HatchWorks grew out of more than a decade at the drafting table. After years of producing architectural drawing sets — backed by a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture — one frustration kept resurfacing: the materials that make a design special almost never exist as hatch patterns.
So drawings settle. A distinctive paver becomes a generic grid. A custom screen wall becomes diagonal lines. Not because designers don't care — but because most never learn that AutoCAD's hatch library can be extended at all.
We started this studio to close that gap: patterns built with a drafter's eye for how drawings actually read, plot, and get picked apart in review.
